Paul Korda, whose work spans from being an artist and producer, recording at Abbey Road for EMI's Parlophone Records in the late 60's, as well as being in the Original UK Cast of HAiR at the same time, to his recent success, looks forward to sharing the fruits of his understanding and growth, with Jim Richman.
When asked about the upcoming interview Paul Korda said "The announcement of British PM David Cameron's austerity package this week, is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the enormous role of culture in the arts in times of frugality. The UK has always flourished artistically when creativity is the real thrill that an individual can have. In the past 20 years, we've seen mindless consumption reach the point where the planets resources have suffered with tons of plastic uselessness, and our individual nature has often been overlooked in mindless purchasing." Paul Korda went on to add that " I have survived in the precarious avenues of the music business, mainly due to my love of creativity, and I'm looking forward to discuss what I've learned with Uckfield FM's Jim Richman, who is going to air some songs from Seeds, my new album, that is a product of creating for the love of it. PaulKorda.com renews effort to aid performing arts for youth in the inner-city
In a renewed effort to focus public attention and funding of creative outlets for youth in the inner-city, PaulKorda.com releases a Holiday Greeting download of the artwork and MP3 of "Beyond the Darkness" by Paul Korda and the 32ndSt/USC Choir together with the music video that was filmed at A&M's Studio A, the site of the Michael Jackson record "We are the World", as well as locations in East Los Angeles. The holiday Greeting download will aid the Los Angeles School Districts Magnet School Program for the Performing Arts and is available on a "pay what you can afford" donation basis through PayPal. Due to the copy and paste format, the recent problems of E-Card tracking and viruses are avoided, as the artwork and MP3 can be copy and pasted into a regular email and can be used multiple times, saving the consumer the costs of multiple greeting cards, while aiding a worthy cause.
Paul Korda's children attended the 32nd Street/USC School, situated beside the Shrine Auditorium, and he is convinced of the benefit of performing arts in helping children who undergo the pressures of inner-city life. His sons have since gone on to be involved in music both as promoters of inner-city events known as Urban Love Productions, the youngest works with the management of The Black Eyed Peas, and is presently in Beijing for the Peas latest dance promotion.
Paul Korda is a singer/songwriter and actor whose songs have been recorded and sung by Roger Daltrey, Frankie Valli, Dave Edmunds, Allan Holdsworth, Robert Palmer, Italy's Patty Pravo, Elkie Brooks and many others, with sales in excess of 20 million copies.
He is scheduled to appear on a Holiday episode of "My Name is Earl".

Recorded at A&M Studio A Hollywood, where "We are the World" was recorded, and on location in East Los Angeles, the music video was born out of Paul Korda teaching youngsters at the community centers of East Los Angeles, to outlet their frustrations through improvisational music creation. Seeing the benefits to the kids, brought about by this spontaneous creation, he then went on to write "Beyond the Darkness, with the intent of gaining financial resources for this form of education, and with the help of many, made this video and turned the song into a musical Holiday greetings card which can be downloaded for the 2007 Holiday Season, proceeds that will contribute to the Magnet School Program for the Performing Arts There's little doubt that creativity can help steer our Earth back from the edge of destruction and help children to retain their innocence and build their character, avoiding the pitfalls of urban destructive behavior, especially that of abusive parents.
