DQE and B-Channel Announce Co-Production Agreements

HYDERABAD, India, November 1, 2010/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DQE, the entertainment production and distribution company,
today announces the signing of two equity and distribution co-production
agreements for The Jungle Book, a 3D TV series and The New Adventures of
Peter Pan a 3D stereoscopic TV series with PT Metropolitan Televisindo
("B-Channel"), Indonesia.

DQE concluded both the contracts with B Channel, during the
recent visit of DQE Chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti to Jakarta,
Indonesia. B Channel confirmed participation as a equity and distribution co
producer for the first season of 'The Jungle Book' TV series, which is in
production now, as well as 'The New Adventures of Peter Pan'. Under the terms
of the agreement B channel will contribute towards the global budget of Euro
9.20 Million for the 52 X 11' TV series of The Jungle Book, as well as
towards the global budget of Euro 10 Million for 26 X 22' Minutes 3D
stereoscopic TV series The New Adventures of Peter Pan.

B Channel has been granted the rights for Free TV/ Free VOD/
IPTV & Home Video Distribution Rights for the region of Indonesia. They will
further be entitled to a royalty against DQE's distribution revenues for
their equity participation.

During the Mipcom Festival in Cannes on 3 October 2010, Peter
Pan was successfully launched by DQE (see www.dqentertainment.com) alongside
co-production equity and editorial partnership with ZDF Group, Germany and
Method Animation, France supported by France Televisions, De Agostini Group,
Italy and ATV, Turkey.

The first broadcast of The Jungle Book on TF1 in France
occurred on 24th October and has received good ratings. The Jungle Book has
already been sold in multiple countries around the world for broadcasting,
licensing and distribution and is co-produced by DQE with international
partners including TF1 and Moonscoop, France, ZDF Group, Germany. Rights to
broadcast the series have also been acquired by ABC Australia, Noga TV
Israel, Disney-Asia, Tele Quebec - Canada, BBC-UK and JCCTV-Middle East,
TVO-Canada, Thai PBS, TV-12 Singapore, while Home Video rights have been
acquired by NBC Universal, TIGA (Thailand) and Play Records (Israel) , as
well as several other licensees for worldwide merchandising.

B CHANNEL is the fastest growing TV network in Indonesia with

BETHPAGE, N.Y., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE: CVC) today reached agreement with News Corp. to return Fox programming to Cablevision. The channels will return to Cablevision immediately and in time for tonight's World Series game and tomorrow's NFL match-up between the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers.

The company released the following statement:

"In the absence of any meaningful action from the FCC, Cablevision has agreed to pay Fox an unfair price for multiple channels of its programming including many in which our customers have little or no interest. Cablevision conceded because it does not think its customers should any longer be denied the Fox programs they wish to see.

Cablevision thanks its customers for understanding the reasons for the dispute and for staying with us. We are also grateful to the 175 government leaders who raised their voices to urge government intervention and binding arbitration to prevent this blackout. It is clear the retransmission consent system is badly broken and needs to be fixed.

In the end, our customers will pay more than they should for Fox programming, but less than they would have if we had accepted the unprecedented rates News Corp. was demanding when they pulled their channels off Cablevision."

The channels returning to Cablevision are Fox 5 (WNYW), Fox 29 (WTXF), My9, Fox Business Network, National Geographic Wild and Fox Deportes.

CULVER CITY, Calif., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Matt Tolmach has launched a new production company and will become a producer on the next installment of Spider-Man, the blockbuster film franchise he helped shepherd since its inception in 2002, it was announced today by Michael Lynton, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman. Doug Belgrad has been promoted to sole president of Columbia Pictures and will take on additional divisional responsibilities. As part of the transition, Belgrad has named Hannah Minghella president of production for Columbia Pictures.

Anyone who knows him knows he has been talking about this for a long time. ATLANTA, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- A new Turner Classic Movies (TCM) poll gauges how modern movies, stars and filmmakers stack up against Hollywood icons. The sometimes surprising results show that Johnny Depp fills Errol Flynn's shoes, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt capture some of the glamour of power couple Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. But, when it comes to sex symbols, no one is quite like Marilyn Monroe.

TCM's survey - conducted during the week of Oct. 18 - is part of the build-up to the Monday, Nov. 1, premiere of the new, seven-part documentary series MOGULS & MOVIE STARS: A HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD. TCM's MOGULS & MOVIE STARS survey included 1,000 adults, with 43% who identified themselves as "classic film enjoyers." The findings include the following:


-- 41% said Johnny Depp's performance in the Pirates of the Caribbean
trilogy is today's best example of the swashbuckling tradition that was
the trademark of stars like Errol Flynn.

-- Denzel Washington is one of today's top box-office draws. An
overwhelming 71% also chose Washington as the contemporary figure who
carries on Sidney Poitier's tradition as a pioneering black actor.

-- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were chosen by 36% as the most iconic
Hollywood couple in the tradition of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard
Burton.

ATLANTA, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Aaron's, Inc. announced today it will unveil a new music video advertising campaign featuring an original theme song performed by Nashville recording artist Brittini Black. The campaign, which debuts this fall, marks the first nationally integrated campaign supported with Aaron's branding throughout TV commercials, radio, web, out of home and print advertising.

Black, an established performer, powerfully sings three musical styles of the theme song: Country/Pop, Latin/Spanish and R&B. The commercials were produced and directed by Aaron's in-house creative team and shot in a music video style. Scenes alternate between Black entertaining on stage, dancing with customers in Aaron's stores and hanging out with Aaron's NASCAR drivers and pit crew. The energetic and charismatic music videos communicate Aaron's values and send a strong customer-focused message. The lyrics of the theme song reinforce Aaron's messaging - the ability to own quality, brand-name furniture, electronics, appliances and computers through Aaron's lease ownership plan without the need for credit. Aaron's tag line "Nobody beats Aaron's," also the song's chorus, lets potential customers know that Aaron's will beat any competitor's advertised price while providing excellent customer service.
