It is listed on NZX and the ASX and had a market capitalisation as at 30 June 2010 of NZ$ 1.8 billion based on a share price of NZ$ 4.69 at that time. SKY's principal business activity is the distribution of both local and foreign programme content to its subscriber base, predominantly through a digital satellite network. An evil villain known as Sudden Death is determined to find the shards, reassemble them and end humanity. PA Cyber Goes Super

PA Cyber Goes Super

Interactive technology takes students to site of Super Bowl XLV

DALLAS, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Veteran Pittsburgh sports broadcaster and Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School instructor Ellis Cannon is taking his students to Super Bowl XLV - and inviting football fans across the U.S. to join them.

Through the school's groundbreaking program, the Ellis Cannon Academy of Sports Media and Broadcasting, Cannon will use interactive technology to allow PA Cyber students to experience the world of Super Bowl sports coverage through their home computers.

Live online chats from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, through Friday, Feb. 4, are prepared for his students, but open to any football fan who would like a unique, behind-the-scenes view of game day media preparation. Anyone wishing to join the conversation during those times can link to the chat room on the PA Cyber website.

Cannon is in Dallas to participate in media events leading up to Super Bowl XLV, when the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Green Bay Packers. In addition to classroom video chats, Cannon, a longtime radio and television personality in Pittsburgh, will also be providing daily updates to radio stations throughout Pennsylvania - via RadioPA, a 63-station network - as well as Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.

A former game-day anchor and broadcast team member of the Pittsburgh Steelers Radio Network, Cannon is a veteran when it comes to the NFL's biggest event. "Capturing this experience for the students is thrilling," said Cannon, who is also the publisher of Pittsburgh Sports Report, KidSports Magazine and A Parents' Guide to the Young Athlete. "I feel an incredible sense of responsibility to serve as a direct connection to the game and preceding events for fans and it is rewarding to bring that to the classroom," he said.

A former trial lawyer with dozens of national television appearances on sports and sports law issues, Cannon will offer additional extended daily coverage at www.pittsburghsportsreport.com and www.elliscannon.com, including an innovative combination of online audio and video featuring daily player and coach interviews as well as nightly video webcasts emanating from the Dallas Sheraton, the officially designated media center.

"This is really exciting since the Steelers are in the Super Bowl," said Anthony Priore from Pittsburgh, a junior in PA Cyber who is enrolled in the Ellis Cannon course along with his brother Daniel, a sophomore. Anthony Priore is looking at colleges that offer a journalism major and hopes for a career in sports media.

So does ninth-grader Erika Schneider from Butler County, just north of Pittsburgh, another member of what she called Cannon's "wonderful" online class. She plans to log into the chat room to follow students' questions and Cannon's comments. "It will be fun. You never know what will come up in conversation," she said.

Priore said he is a huge sports fan but has always been on the receiving end of sports news. The Ellis Cannon class is teaching him how professionals gather news and "convey it to the fans," he said.

Linda Burkley, a vice president of the Butler Media Group, a group of small market radio stations in western Pennsylvania (WISR and WBUT AM, and FM 97.7) said her stations will be among RadioPA Network members broadcasting the two-minute news segments that Cannon sends back every day from Dallas.

"Any small market radio station that has the opportunity to offer professional commentary from the biggest football event of the year -- especially when the Steelers are playing -- is thrilled," said Burkley. "Ellis's idea to deliver this type of coverage to small market stations in and around Pennsylvania is truly exciting and innovative, especially when you add on the opportunity Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School is providing to its students."

The Ellis Cannon Academy of Sports Media and Broadcasting course is a two-semester program at PA Cyber, Pennsylvania's largest online K-12 public school. The unique online class, hosted by veteran sportscaster Ellis Cannon, introduces high school students to practices and history of print, radio, television, and online sports journalism. Professional sports writers and broadcast journalists are regular guest presenters in the virtual class conducted over the Internet.

The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School (PA Cyber) is the premier online K-12 educational provider for students and their families in combining the best technology, personal instruction and approved curriculum with highly qualified teachers. PA Cyber is a public charter school with more than 10,000 students.

HomeAway Rolls Out 'The World's Most Customizable Commercial Ever' as Part of Campaign Premiering During Super Bowl XLV

HomeAway Rolls Out 'The World's Most Customizable Commercial Ever' as Part of Campaign Premiering During Super Bowl XLV

- Campaign kicks off Super Bowl Sunday with debut of new 30-second commercial that challenges travelers to ask themselves "Why hotel when you can HomeAway?(TM)"

- 60-second customizable version of the commercial enables consumers to star in the spot by putting their face onto a test baby - a central character in the ad - and choosing to "smush," "smash" or "catch" the baby

- HomeAway customers - vacation rental property owners and managers - may also feature their homes in the customizable ad, during a scene that becomes a personalized virtual home tour and marketing tool

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeAway, Inc. - the world's leading online vacation rental marketplace - today announced details of its new national marketing campaign, which officially debuts on Feb. 6, 2011, with a 30-second spot during the broadcast of Super Bowl XLV and features a fully customizable experience at http://detourism.homeaway.com in which viewers insert photos of themselves and/or their properties into a commercial.

To view the multimedia assets associated with this release, please click: http://multivu.prnewswire.com/mnr/homeaway/43506/

(Photo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20110131/MM37479 )

Designed to communicate the message, "Why hotel when you can HomeAway?," the campaign features the fictional "Minister of Detourism" in a top-secret government testing facility where he highlights the pitfalls of cramped hotel rooms and showcases the benefits of vacation rentals - privacy, space and freedom.

In the 30-second spot, a family is seen in a "hotel room simulator," where they suffer from "limited space syndrome" and struggle to get comfortable in the cramped quarters. Then, in a humorous chain reaction, a "test baby" - similar to a crash dummy - is accidentally launched into the air where it ultimately smushes up against the glass of the hotel room simulator before sliding slowly to the floor.

"We used the test baby scene to create a 'Super Bowl-worthy' moment that breaks through the clutter of so many ads," says Brian Sharples, chief executive officer of HomeAway®. "While everyone loves babies and wouldn't want to see a real infant get mistakenly flung into the air, we hope viewers will get a good laugh from our test baby's unfortunate flight. The comic situation is used to highlight the fact that families, particularly those with children, could use a little extra space when traveling."

The World's Most Customizable Commercial Ever

An extended version of the Super Bowl ad includes a fully customizable experience at http://detourism.homeaway.com, where users may upload a picture of their face - or that of friends or family - and put it on the test baby before selecting one of three scenes: "smush" (in which the test baby's face smushes against the glass), "smash" (in which the baby is propelled through the room's glass wall), or "catch" (in which the baby is launched in to the air and caught by the Minister of Detourism). The uploaded face is rendered three-dimensionally and provides three distinct and surprising options, each that are easy to share via email, Facebook and Twitter.

HomeAway also has a customizable version for vacation rental owners and property managers who list their homes on one of HomeAway's U.S. sites, including HomeAway.com, VRBO.com and VacationRentals.com. In essence, they insert their properties in the actual commercial to create a virtual home tour of their vacation rental using Google Maps, photos of their property and the voice of the Minister of Detourism.

"We've taken personalization to a whole new level with this campaign," says Sharples. "Travelers can have fun starring in the commercial, and vacation rental owners can feature their properties in the ad to send to friends, past guests and potential renters as a fun way to showcase their homes."

Additional components of the new marketing campaign include:

-- Online Video Content - Additional videos from the "Ministry of
Detourism" can be found on http://detourism.homeaway.com, including a
spoof on the history of hotels; a video showing the Ministry's "hotel
keycard test" in which a man's arm falls off after several attempts to
open his room with a deactivated keycard; and a video of the Ministry's
"hotel guest sleeping test" in which a family struggles to catch some
sleep when staying next to a heavy metal band.

-- Social Media - HomeAway is leveraging social media to spread the word
about the campaign and drive visitors to HomeAway.com to create and
share customized videos. The company's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
accounts will also be updated regularly with new campaign content at
http://www.facebook.com/HomeAway, http://twitter.com/HomeAway and
http://www.youtube.com/homeawayvacation.

-- Online Advertising - A complementary digital advertising plan will reach
consumers in HomeAway's targeted demographic. Online advertising will
appear on general interest and travel-focused web sites.

The new campaign was developed by Austin, Texas-based ad agency Vendor Inc. For more information, visit the Ministry of Detourism on HomeAway.com.

Mathew Knowles Named to Fisk University Board of Trustees

Mathew Knowles Named to Fisk University Board of Trustees

HOUSTON, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mathew Knowles, the founder, President and CEO of Music World Entertainment (MWE), has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Fisk University. A 1974 graduate of the Historically Black College based in Nashville, Tennessee, Knowles also will serve on the Board of the General Alumni Association of Fisk University. The leader of one of the world's leading music and entertainment conglomerates, Knowles brings to the board his business and management expertise, a strong commitment to education and a great enthusiasm for his alma mater.

Under Knowles visionary leadership, Music World Entertainment has experienced tremendous growth and extraordinary success for nearly two decades. He is widely recognized in the entertainment industry for his innovative and successful approach to producing and distributing high quality entertainment and developing and promoting award-winning artists. The company has had an unprecedented impact on music and entertainment around the globe.

"Fisk is honored that its alumnus and international businessman Mathew Knowles will join our Board of Trustees," said Fisk President Hazel R. O'Leary. "His strategic skills and worldview compliment those of our concurrent Board Members as we prepare our students for leadership and engagement in the local and global communities."

Knowles welcomes the opportunity to lend his business acumen and leadership skills to provide policy guidance as part of the Board of Trustees. Knowles first honed those skills at Fisk while working toward both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. "I am so honored to have the opportunity to give back to this university that played such an important role in my life," said Knowles. "Fisk offered me more than just a first class education. It reinforced the belief that if you maintain a commitment to excellence, work hard and never give up on your dreams; you can be and do anything that you want, no matter where you start out."

Knowles' commitment to encouraging and supporting the aspirations of young people came out of his own life experience. A self-described "small town country boy," Knowles grew up in Gadsden, Alabama during the 1950s, when the town was segregated. He credits his parents with instilling both drive and strong family-centered values within him. Through his parents, he also learned early lessons about the importance of education and the rewards of being willing to chart a new course for others to follow. His mother was a strong advocate of desegregation. As a result he was one of the first African Americans to attend Litchfield Junior High School, where he and the other black students were escorted by state troopers through throngs of angry protesters every day. He also was among the first African Americans to attend Gadsden High School and the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Although he faced many challenges in breaking the color barriers at these schools, those early experiences as a trailblazer would shape his approach to his career. He says that he learned that "inside adversity often lies opportunity" and that one should never give up on a dream. After graduating from college, he began a career as a sales and marketing representative for Xerox in Houston, Texas. He became the top sales executive worldwide before turning his attention to the music business, where he continues to encourage dreams and blaze new trails.

In 2008, Knowles was awarded the Doctor of Humane Letters during the University's commencement ceremony. At that time he recalled that at Fisk, he was encouraged not only to work hard, but also to think outside the box and to imagine a successful future in whatever field he chose to pursue.

"I remember being at Fisk's radio station [WFSK 88.1 FM] with a fraternity brother, David Lombard, and all we did was dream," Knowles said, noting that their dreams were about taking the industry by storm by creating and managing girl groups. "David went on to put together a group called En Vogue and I put together a group called Destiny's Child, and it was because of a dream right here at Fisk University."

Lombard managed En Vogue, an award-winning female quartet which, according to Billboard magazine, was one of the most popular female groups of all time. Under Knowles leadership and management, Destiny's Child became a global phenomenon and the "most successful girl group" in the history of popular music. In the 1990s, Destiny's Child was named Billboard magazine's Female Group of the Decade. Knowles also successfully launched and managed the solo careers of the members of Destiny's Child: Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce, who was crowned Billboard's Top Female Artist of the Decade.

Knowles continues the tradition of both training students for careers and encouraging them to dream. He holds a professorship at Texas Southern University, where he teaches a course on the entertainment industry in the School of Communications. He also has been a popular guest lecturer at various colleges and universities throughout the country. In 2010, Knowles instituted a highly successful and competitive summer internship program for college students from around the country who are interested in working in the entertainment field. The twelve students who were selected for the program had a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in various areas of music entertainment business, including marketing, new media, A&R, artist development, tour management and creative. They also met regularly with Knowles in sessions that were both instructional and inspirational. During this 10-week program at MWE headquarters in Houston, Texas, interns not only performed assigned tasks, but they also were challenged to think creatively and to offer ideas for their projects. A number of the students who had earned their degrees in May 2010 were hired by Music World Entertainment at the conclusion of the internship program.

The Legend Award is presented to an entertainer or a television show that has stood the test of time and ranks among the most memorable and celebrated in television and movie history. Philbin's morning show "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" debuted nationally in syndication in September of 1988 and continues to be a hit with co-host Kelly Ripa ("LIVE! with Regis and Kelly"). In 1999, Philbin became the host of another hit, the prime-time game show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." He won two Emmy® Awards in 2001, one each as host of "Live" and "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." On January 18, 2011, Regis Philbin announced that after 28 years, he would retire as host of "LIVE! Jones and Casey Patterson are executive producers.

About Regis Philbin

As the face to which millions of Americans wake up every weekday morning, Regis Philbin has become a cultural icon in television broadcasting.

Since Philbin first stepped in front of the camera more than 50 years ago, he has ambitiously tackled talk shows, game shows and even the literary world, with multiple best-sellers to his credit. In May 2001, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honored him with a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Talk Show Host for his syndicated program, "Live with Regis," and another Emmy as Outstanding Game Show Host for "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." He and co-host Kelly Ripa received the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Special for hosting the 2006 "Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade." In September 2010, he broke his own existing Guinness World Record(TM) for Most Hours on Camera, setting a new mark of 16,548.5 hours accumulated over his illustrious career - a career that was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at the 2008 Daytime Emmy Awards.

Early on, Philbin took "A.M. Los Angeles" from the bottom of the ratings to number one, where the show remained throughout his seven-year tenure. At the national level, he served as Joey Bishop's sidekick on "The Joey Bishop Show" and helmed "The Regis Philbin Show," a daily 30-minute program that received an Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Variety Series.

Currently in its 23rd season in national syndication, "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" originated in 1983 when Philbin created "The Morning Show" for WABC in his native Manhattan. It quickly became the number one show in the market. Kathie Lee Gifford joined him in June 1985, and in September 1988 the program debuted in national syndication and the title was changed to "Live with Regis & Kathie Lee." In 2001, Philbin was joined by Ripa, and the program entered a new era as "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly."

Philbin took his daytime success to nighttime with ABC's ratings juggernaut "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" in 1999. In August 2009, ten years after making television history, the network brought back a special 11-episode anniversary run of the blockbuster game show with Philbin at the helm.

Following the initial run of "Millionaire" and the $10 million spin-off "Super Millionaire," Philbin returned to primetime as host of the NBC summer program "America's Got Talent." In early 2008, he was tapped by ABC to host the red carpet arrivals show for the 2008 Academy Awards, and later that year hosted the network revival of "Password," CBS' "Million Dollar Password." In June, 2010, he took on hosting duties for daytime television's biggest night, the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, broadcast live from Las Vegas.

In 2001, Philbin received a TV Guide Award as Personality of the Year, and a Broadcasting & Cable Lifetime Achievement Award. He also was presented with a Crystal Apple Award from then-New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for his contributions to the New York television industry. Other accolades include the Walter Camp "Distinguished American Award" at Yale University and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Philbin was the 2006 inductee into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and later that year was selected by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to be inducted into the Television Academy's Hall of Fame.

A native of New York City, Philbin is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received an honorary doctorate of law degree for his contributions to Notre Dame and South Bend. Regis and Joy have two grown daughters, Joanna and Jennifer.

Score The Smartest Super Bowl Party On The Block

Score The Smartest Super Bowl Party On The Block

HowStuffWorks.com Reveals Americans Will Consume 11 Million Pounds of Potato Chips on Super Bowl Sunday

ATLANTA, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Fanatical fans are talking smack while benchwarmers gawk as the Packers and Steelers get their game face on for Super Bowl XLV. While the hype may be reaching a fever pitch in Dallas, in living rooms across America fans will be turning the big game into a reason to celebrate. HowStuffWorks.com has the Super Bowl facts, stats and trivia to make this year's Super Bowl party the most fun and informed one on the block.

Whether you're a hard core gridiron junkie or just like to people watch, HowStuffWorks.com has plenty of Super Bowl smarts and trivia for pre-kick-off party games. For example, did you know that on the day of the big game, Feb. 6, Americans will consume more than 11 million pounds of potato chips? Or that over 1 billion viewers worldwide are expected to tune-in to watch?

Not every one of the billion plus viewers is going to be a die-hard sports fan. Many viewers and party-goers watch just to check out the commercials, which are some of the most sought after ad spots on television. In fact, Super Bowl ad prices reached $1 million in 1995, climbed to $2 million in 2000 and in 2009 hit the $3 million mark. Although all ad campaigns don't make it to the Super Bowl, that doesn't make them any less innovative. Check out 10 awesome ads that didn't make the cut, including "Obesity is Suicide" and "Life Comes At You Fast."

If the business behind the game gets you jazzed, HSW offers fast facts to feed your brain, like:

-- San Diego County, CA realized $367 million in revenue as a result of
Super Bowl XXXVII.
-- No team has ever played a Super Bowl on its home field.
-- Tickets to the original Super Bowl in 1967 sold between $6 and $12.
-- The retail price for a ticket to Super Bowl XLIII in 2009 topped out at
$1,000, but tickets are often resold, or scalped, for many times more
than their face value. In 2008, one online broker successfully sold
tickets for Super Bowl XLII for $9,850.
-- Tickets this year range from about $3,000 to $17,000.

"We're particularly fond of our Super Bowl package and think it offers the best collection of compelling brain food from light hearted to hard hitting historical facts," Tracy Wilson, HowStuffWorks site director, said. "We had some serious fun developing stuff to satisfy every fan's taste and I, for one, plan to burn a few calories in a pre-bowl pick-up game before I eat that first chip."

RLTV Debuts 'Our Pack' - A Celebration About the Fervor of Hometown Fans

RLTV Debuts 'Our Pack' - A Celebration About the Fervor of Hometown Fans

BALTIMORE, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the weekend of the Big Game, RLTV is premiering "Our Pack" a fast, funny, punchy documentary on the mania gripping the small city of Green Bay, home of the Green Bay Packers, who head into the Big Game for the fifth time. "Our Pack" airs on RLTV on Thursday and Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 9pm, and Sunday at 1pm.

Part history lesson, part quirky travelogue, part ethnographic investigation "Our Pack" goes to places few documentaries on sports teams go, visiting bratwurst factories, tailgate parties, prisons, and retirement communities, talking to psychotherapists, tattoo artists, and even a U.S. senator. Packer Fever permeates the city, from the maternity wards--where newborns are outfitted with Packers bonnets--to funeral parlors that feature Packers caskets. In Green Bay, you can open up a Packer checking account, go to Vince Lombardi Junior High School, and get Packers braces on your teeth. From dentistry to divorce law, there is no escaping it: even the economy is dependent on the outcome of a game. As ex-Packer Larry McCarren puts it, "This is not a sport, it's closer to a religion."

"Our Pack" is not just for sports fans. It's a portrait of a small town; it's about community, loyalty, and team spirit. It's about entrepreneurialism, civic pride, and beer. It's about unconditional love. It's also informative, enlivening, and vastly entertaining.

"It's sort of America at its best," says one fan. "'Our Pack' is the kind of invigorating and inspiring programming RLTV is dedicated to providing to our audience: programs that matter, programs that entertain, programs that reflect the diversity and vibrancy of our viewers," said Elliot Jacobson, SVP of Programming and Production for RLTV.

"Our Pack" was Executive Produced by Brad Metzger, and Directed by Brad Metzger and Miguel A. de La Lama X.

Atheneum Books for Young Readers to Publish The Guardians of Childhood, The Highly Anticipated Series by William Joyce, Author, Illustrator, and Emmy Award Winner

Atheneum Books for Young Readers to Publish The Guardians of Childhood, The Highly Anticipated Series by William Joyce, Author, Illustrator, and Emmy Award Winner

- First books to be released in Fall 2011

- Rise of the Guardians to be released by DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc., in Fall 2012

NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Atheneum Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, announced today that in Fall 2011 it will launch the first two books in a new series, The Guardians of Childhood, by famed author, illustrator, and Emmy Award winner William Joyce. The Man in the Moon, the first picture book in the series, will be written and illustrated by William Joyce. The first chapter book, Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King, will be coauthored by William Joyce and Laura Geringer, and illustrated by Joyce. Atheneum Books for Young Readers Publisher Justin Chanda and Editorial Director Caitlyn Dlouhy negotiated the deal with agent Michael Siegel from Michael Siegel & Associates, Inc., which includes translation and audio rights.

This highly anticipated series-seven picture books and six chapter books-will be Joyce's first children's books published in more than a decade. The Guardians of Childhoodseries tells the formative stories of childhood legends including Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and the Easter Bunny. Laura Geringer of the award-winning Laura Geringer Books will edit the picture books, with Caitlyn Dlouhy as in-house editor. Caitlyn Dlouhy will edit the chapter books.

The next three books are slated to release in 2012 to coincide withthe Fall 2012 release of Rise of the Guardians, inspired by the book series. The film from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA) is directed by Peter Ramsey and codirected by William Joyce.

William Joyce said, "I've been working on a unified mythology for the icons of childhood since my daughter was born in 1991. As a parent I felt that Santa Claus, the Man in the Moon, all of them had become a little diminished. They deserve to be thought of as grand, heroic, epic. If Spiderman has an origins mythology, then why not the characters we actually believed in? Their stories became my mission. It's great to see it finally taking shape."

"Helping a legend like William Joyce bring his vision to life is a dream come true for all of us at Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing," said Jon Anderson, Executive VP & Publisher. "The Guardians of Childhood will delight the imaginations of children and their parents for generations to come."

William Joyce has put his personal stamp on all types of children's media. His award-winning picture books include George Shrinks, Dinosaur Bob and His Adventures With the Family Lazardo, and Santa Calls. He's won three Emmy awards for his Rolie Polie Olie animated series, developed character concepts for Toy Story and A Bug's Life, and made animated films including Robots and Meet the Robinsons. He's currently codirecting the DreamWorks Animation release of Rise of the Guardians (Fall 2012). He is also writing, designing, and producing The Leaf Men. He is also the cofounder of Moonbot Studios, whose first animated short film, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, is making its world premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on February 5, 2011.

Laura Geringer is the author of many popular books for children, including the fantasy Sign of the Qin, Book One in the Outlaws of Moonshadow Marshseries, and the bestselling A Three Hat Day, illustrated by Arnold Lobel. She serves on the board of First Book, a nonprofit organization, whose global mission is to get books into the hands of children who can't afford them.
