michelle-K Signs Evangeline Lilly for New Ad Campaign

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Taking its next bold step to build a lifestyle brand, michelle-K has announced today that it has partnered with actress Evangeline Lilly from ABC's drama, "Lost," to represent the new face of the michelle-K fashion company in its new ad campaign.

"Evangeline is the epitome of health, beauty, style and glamour -- everything that michelle-K is all about," said Michelle Kelchak, design director of michelle-K. "She's gorgeous in a down-to-earth way, which goes so perfectly with our leisure-minded shoes. We feel proud to be working with her."

michelle-K's new print advertising campaign kicks off in Fall/Holiday 2006 fashion, lifestyle and entertainment publications, including Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, People and Us Weekly. Celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith shot the images at a private estate, an architectural showcase befitting the inspiration for the photos that embodies the spirit of fashion, health and style and focuses utterly on Lilly and the company's shoes. In celebration of the new campaign, michelle-K hosted a cocktail party on June 15 at the popular Kitson boutique in Los Angeles.

A raven-haired beauty, Lilly's breakout role as the unpredictable Kate Austen in "Lost," has attracted notable attention, garnering her the May 2006 cover of Elle magazine and interviews with Jay Leno, David Letterman and Conan O'Brien. Lilly's love of the great outdoors (ice skating, canoeing, kayaking, snowboarding and rock climbing are a few pastimes) and her penchant for travel create a synergistic fit with michelle-K, known for its sporty, up-market sneakers, sandals, wedges and boots. Lilly's partnership with the company extends through 2007.
