Audio Network Funds Scholarship at The Royal College of Music

LONDON, July 16, 2012/PRNewswire/ --

International music publisher Audio Network and the Royal College of Music (RCM) are
delighted to announce the creation of 'The Audio Network Scholarship' which will fully
fund musically talented students through their entire 3 year courses.

Audio Network is committed to supporting and developing new talent, and will work with
the RCM to support the students in a variety of ways. As well as funding the successful
applicants, Audio Network also plans to offer additional support through mentoring to help
develop their knowledge of the industry and provide useful professional guidance during
their time at the RCM.

The scholarship will support a student who displays outstanding ability in any musical
discipline. Andrew Sunnucks, Creative Director at Audio Network said, "It's a tragedy when
a person with a special talent can't fulfil their potential because of lack of funds. We
want this award to give opportunities to young people, whatever their backgrounds, to get
the very best musical training possible and get the chance to work at the highest levels
of the music industry as a result."

Nicholas Selman, Development Manager for Scholarships & Academic Awards at the Royal
College of Music said, "We're delighted that Audio Network recognises the need to support
and nurture those talented musicians who don't have the necessary financial backup to
complete their courses. This is an outstanding opportunity for three gifted students and
for whom scholarship support will make a tangible difference to their development."

Audio Network currently releases over 1,000 new tracks a month for use by the global
media market at http://www.audionetwork.com.

Notes for Editors:

Audio Network

With a catalogue of over 52,000 tracks, Audio Network offers a complete music solution
by cutting through the traditionally complex and costly processes of licensing music. All
music tracks are pre-cleared for multiple formats, for the world, forever.

This approach allows producers to make content for international distribution,
emerging platforms and new media without the need to go through the complicated and
expensive process of clearing individual tracks or re-versioning productions.

The company supplies music to some major international media clients, including BBC,
HBO, MSN, MTV Networks, National Geographic Ogilvy and Endemol.

Audio Network owns the rights to their extensive catalogue which covers a full range
of music styles from classical to hip hop and from country to rock 'n' roll. The music is
recognised as amongst the best available and is created by its team of composers and
recorded by major orchestras and artistes including The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Dame
Evelyn Glennie OBE, Julian Lloyd Webber, Debbie Wiseman MBE and the late Sir John
Dankworth CBE.

Releasing 1000 music tracks a month, the company also supplies more than 50,000 sound
effects and a collection of famous classical works from its Borradaile Collection.

In addition to supplying original scoring, audio branding, sound design services and
working as creative partners alongside over 360 renowned composers, Audio Network now has
interests and operations in multiple territories, worldwide.
