The "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" episode featuring Chef Don Dial and Rocco's Cafe will air on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at 10 PM (PDT) on Food Network (local channel 35).

Rocco's Cafe is named after Rocco Coscarelli, Don's grandfather, who came from Italy in 1920 and ran a successful restaurant in San Francisco for more than 20 years. The key ingredients were quality, quantity, and personality. This old-school Italian recipe for success was passed down to Don, who 18 years ago opened Rocco's Cafe in his grandfather's honor.

Rocco's Cafe brings the feeling of San Francisco's old North Beach and the flavor of Italy to San Francisco's South of Market area (SOMA). Chef Don cooks authentic, home-style Italian food from scratch.
