'I'm Ready Productions' Calls Action! and Brings Their Lucrative Theatre Business to Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Je'Caryous Johnson and Gary Guidry of "I'm Ready Productions" are the latest theatre producers to bring their million-dollar business and underground power in the urban theatre marketplace, to tinsel town. With the guidance of their high-power agent at William Morris, they will adapt their original stage play, "Men, Money and Gold Diggers," to the big screen.

Johnson and Guidry wrote, directed and produced a number of successful plays including the top grossing stage plays "Cheaters" which starred Grammy nominated artist Brian McKnight. "I'm Ready Productions" broke box office numbers with their stage plays, and will now join the ranks of Tyler Perry and David E. Talbert in entertaining their solid, well-established fan base on the silver screen. This will be the producing duo's first feature film and is being packaged by Charles King of The William Morris Agency. King has had great success taking Tyler Perry from stage to screen with such hits as "Madea's Family Reunion" and the upcoming "Meet The Browns."

Recently honored with the 2007 Trailblazer award by the NAACP Theatre Awards, Gary Guidry and Je'Caryous Johnson have made their mark as dedicated theatre producers and have done phenomenal business in the touring theatre industry.
