SILVER SPRING, Md., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- TLC's hit daytime series, HOME MADE SIMPLE, is filming its second season in a town near you! The new season starts within the Beltway in mid-October and the team is in search of local families deserving of some help and inspiration from the HOME MADE SIMPLE Mavens. This new batch of episodes will once again show families and viewers alike fresh ways to simplify, beautify and organize their homes and lives.

HOME MADE SIMPLE travels the country identifying homeowners who are in need of some simple solutions to everyday or unusual problems. Nominated families from season one included a family whose Army officer dad was about to embark on a tour of duty; a mom with triplets who had recently taken on caring for her ailing mother, and three twenty-something cousins who shared an old fashioned single story home. In each episode, the Home Mavens surprised families with fabulous tips for easy decor, easy meals, and organization, plus general home improvements to make their lives simpler.

If you have a friend or loved one that would be a perfect fit for our show, please apply online to homemadesimple@discovery.com -or- http://www.homemadesimple.com/. Ideally, nominees will own their own homes. All applicants must be 18 or older.
