HBO's 'Siempre Con Orgullo. Siempre Latino' Campaign Showcases Powerful Spanish-Language Films and Original Programs

NEW YORK, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- HBO will premiere a powerful lineup of critically acclaimed Spanish-language films and original programs as part of the network's "Siempre Con Orgullo. Siempre Latino" campaign, which will appeal to today's multigenerational and bilingual Latino households.
The HBO Latino programming is anchored around the "Estrenos Latinos" premiere of films from Latin America, Spain and the U.S. that will play every Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET throughout the campaign, followed by a second film. Additionally, new segments of HBO Latino original programs, which speak to the diversity of the Hispanic community, will be showcased. The programs begin September 15 and run through October 15.
ESTRENOS LATINOS
Te Doy Mis Ojos (Spain) - an intriguing drama about a terrified woman who struggles between a brutal existence and undeniable passion. Playdate: September 15. Language: Spanish.
Sexo Con Amor (Chile) - a humorous look at sex education, as six parents examine their own unresolved issues with sexuality. Playdate: September 22. Language: Spanish.
Amor en Alquiler (U.S./Colombia) - a romantic comedy about a college student, whose struggles to handle immigration and financial difficulties, leads to an unusual proposal which changes her life. Playdate: September 29. Language: English with Spanish subtitles.
Oculto (Spain) - a psychological thriller about three people whose lives and dreams become entangled. Playdate: October 6. Language: Spanish.
La Puta y La Ballena (Argentina) - a drama centering on photos of a Spanish Civil War veteran and a mysterious woman that take one writer to Patagonia for answers. Playdate: October 13. Language: Spanish.
ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING
Habla Mas, Parts 1 & 2 (Chicago) - The latest installment in the HBO Latino original "Habla" series features anecdotes and real life accounts of what it means to be Latino in the U.S. Like past specials filmed in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, this special brings a unique Latino perspective, with performers in Chicago touching on a variety of subjects. Playdate: September 15. Language: English, Spanish and "Spanglish."
El Perro y El Gato - an HBO Latino original animated series for 2 - 7 year olds that teaches vocabulary to kids in a fun, engaging and smart way. Five individual segments will focus on the topics Music, Baby, Yoga, Spring and Letters. Playdates begin: October 8. Language: English and Spanish.
Generacion Boxeo - an exciting and original HBO Latino boxing series featuring some of the best young fighters of today, as well as behind-the- scenes interviews and round-by-round commentary by Raul Marquez and Mario Solis. Playdate: Check local listings. Language: Spanish.
In addition, the critically acclaimed original Spanish-language murder mystery series from HBO Latin America, Epitafios, which made its U.S. premiere last year on HBO Latino, will have an encore presentation beginning on September 18.
HBO ON DEMAND
For the second year in a row, HBO On Demand has also created a special category within the "Inside HBO" area that will spotlight the wide variety of Latino-themed programs that HBO has to offer. Under the banner "Siempre Latino," the category will present select programs from above, as well as behind-the-scenes short-form content and additional theatrical films. These programs will be hosted on HBO On Demand from September 11 through October 16.
