KVIA El Paso, TX Affiliate to Air 'Austin Movie Show'

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- NoSpoon Productions today announced that "Austin Movie Show" has been picked up by KVIA in the El Paso-Las Cruces- Ciudad Juarez market. KVIA has created a new digital channel, KVIA-DT 7.2, that will be a CW affiliate for that market.

The launch September 18th, 2006 of The CW Television Network, which will target younger viewers, is a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment. "Austin Movie Show" will be a part of KVIA-DT 7.2's weekend programming lineup, airing Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM beginning September 24th.

KVIA-DT 7.2 will be a digital over-the-air channel and will also be available to digital cable subscribers in its market.

"Austin Movie Show" is a syndicated weekly television show hosted by creators Jegar Erickson and Leila Hernandez. Erickson and Hernandez spotlight the Texas filmmaking community, as well as review all released movies, debate the latest movie news, and interview industry talent involved in every aspect of moviemaking. "Austin Movie Show" also features original comedy sketches and movie parodies, and local musicians perform in-studio, every week.
