Company Takes Staff to Fast and The Furious 3

Company Takes Staff to Fast and The Furious 3

FORT MYERS, Fla., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- For CarSponsorships.com it was the perfect field trip, a morning off to see the new movie, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. "It was great to be able to actually show your staff a movie that features many of the automotive companies we deal with on a daily basis," said Egizi, President and CEO of CarSponsorships.com.

Egizi said his company partners with more than 16 major "Fast and Furious" automotive companies such as Dunlop Tires, Blaupunkt Audio and VerticalDoors. "This movie will surely boost the industry," Egizi said. He expects to see an increase in tuner kids looking to get their car sponsored once this movie hits today.

His business provides aftermarket product sponsorships to mostly high school and college students. "Instead of kids paying thousands of dollars for performance parts, we can offer them a product sponsorship from one or more of our partners in exchange for their promotion. They promote our sponsors' products at school, car shows and to local car clubs. Many of their sponsored cars make it into magazines and movies. It's a win-win situation for both sponsors and tuners," said Egizi. Most of the cars featured in the movie were built using product sponsorships.

How does the staff feel about taking the morning off to see the movie? "It was a real motivator. Seeing the types of cars that I provide products for on the big screen was really cool. It was definitely better than the second Fast and The Furious. It's got more of a real world street racing theme to it," said Justin Jaworski, Product Manager. The movie was centered on drifting, a form of racing where tuner cars slide or drift around corners. Justin also said, "The movie sends a message to street racers; don't do it or you'll end up getting hurt."
