NDTV, The Dominican Channel and Antena Latina Enter into International Broadcasting Agreement

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- NDTV, the Dominican Channel and the first Dominican channel to broadcast its signal across the entire United States of America through the programming package offered by DIRECTV FOR ALL and Antena Latina, Channel 7 in the Dominican Republic, entered into a transmission agreement that will allow Dominicans who live in the United States to enjoy this prestigious channel's programming offerings.

The most outstanding content in this new programming includes shows such as, The Factory and Jamz, created by renowned production firm Perfect Image Film and Video Production, a leading company in the production of programs in the young Hispanics' segment. Perfect Image Film and Video Production produces The Roof, the acclaimed show with which the company obtained an overwhelming level of success among young Hispanics in the United States.

Cesar Mazzotta, President of NDTV said that this agreement represents a significant step forward in fulfilling the channel's strategic plan. "The programming with which we launched NDTV at the end of 2004 allowed us to position the channel as the best Dominican content provider in the United States. In this new stage, we are incorporating to our programming productions that will satisfy an even broader audience. We cannot be satisfied by only having recognized names in our programming, we should have an offer capable of attracting and maintaining the new generations with quality content."

On the other hand, Rolando Gonzalez, Antena Latina's General Manager said he is very satisfied with the agreement, which allows Dominicans who live in the United States to enjoy the channel's excellent local productions through NDTV, the Dominican Channel.

NDTV's new programs are now part of the channel's traditional programming, which includes shows such as, Focus, Hoy en tu Casa (Today, In your Home), Lo Mas Trendy (The Trendiest), Paparazzi, and Parque Intrepido (Intrepid Park).

NDTV The Dominican Channel is distributed through Channel 424 as part of the DIRECTV FOR ALL(R) programming package.
