KAMPALA, Uganda, April 10/PRNewswire/ --

- American Singer and Keep a Child Alive Officials to Visit Children and
Families Treated at Free Masaka AIDS Treatment Clinic on Monday April

Keep a Child Alive (KCA) and KCA ambassador, Alicia Keys, will be in
Masaka, Uganda today (approx. 120km southeast of Kampala) to visit Keep a
Child Alive-sponsored sites including AIDS Healthcare Foundation's Masaka
Healthcare Center, which provides free medical care and anti-retroviral

provide lifesaving anti-retroviral treatment and services to keep children
alive.

In Uganda, one of the sites that KCA funds is AHF's Masaka Healthcare
Center, which cares for many thousands of Ugandans, nearly 4,000 of whom
receive lifesaving anti-retroviral therapy through the facility. The clinic
is operated by Uganda CARES/AIDS Healthcare Foundation in partnership with
the Ugandan Ministry of Health, and was endorsed by President Yoweri
Museveni. AHF treats more than 13,000 people in Uganda, 80% of whom are
women, many with children and families.

Uganda is to provide care and treatment to children and families living with
HIV/AIDS.
