Lind-Waldock Launches LindPowerYourself!(TM) Campaign
National Television, Print, and Online Ads Focus on Power of Financial, Commodity Futures for Individual Investors
CHICAGO, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Lind-Waldock, one of the best known and most respected futures brokerages for individuals, this week launches its latest advertising campaign, LindPowerYourself!(TM), with spots on CNBC and MSNBC.
"This campaign focuses on power, both in terms of what a powerful investment tool futures can be for individual investors and how Lind-Waldock empowers individuals to use both financial and commodity futures through our cutting-edge trading platform, industry-leading education programs, and financial strength," said Mark Sachs, President of Lind-Waldock.
For the campaign, Lind-Waldock will be running television commercials on CNBC and MSNBC, print ads in The Wall Street Journal and other business publications, and banner ads on financial Web sites.
Sachs noted that futures investing continues to grow dramatically, as demonstrated by record-setting volume at many futures exchanges, but futures use by individuals still trails other investments such as options. Yet trading futures gives investors tremendous flexibility, enabling them to take both long and short positions in a variety of markets, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities such as oil and gold.
"As more individual investors learn about futures, many of them are recognizing how valuable futures can be as part of their investment strategy. Lind-Waldock's advertising campaign is part of our overall effort to promote futures as an investment and to help individual investors determine whether these products should form part of their investment portfolio," Sachs said.

Founded in 1965, Lind-Waldock was one of the first brokerages to cater specifically to individual futures traders. The firm has a history of providing innovative solutions to futures investors: It was the first futures brokerage to offer trading at discounted commissions, the first to develop its own order-routing system to U.S. exchange trading floors, and the first to offer clients an online order-entry platform.
Today, Lind-Waldock offers individual investors several types of accounts, including self-directed for those who want to trade futures themselves, broker-assisted for investors who want the assistance of a futures broker, managed futures for those who want to have a Commodity Trading Advisor manage their futures account for them, and auto-executed for those who want to buy or lease a trading system for auto-execution of trading orders.
