Ben Vereen - legendary star of stage and screen, best known for his
groundbreaking work in Pippin, All That Jazz and Roots - is in town for
Columbia's Conversations in the Arts: Up Close With ... which takes place
at 7:30 p.m. February 10 in the Film Row Cinema Theater of Columbia
College Chicago. Media is also invited to attend and cover the evening
"Conversation" event. This summer, Vereen will be taking over the roll of
the Wizard in the Broadway production of WICKED.
