CA Security Experts to Present at RSA Conference 2005
CA's Artzt to Deliver Keynote Address
ISLANDIA, N.Y., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA) announced today that four CA security experts, including CA Executive Vice President and Co-founder Russell M. Artzt, will speak at RSA Conference 2005, Feb. 14-18 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Artzt will deliver a keynote address on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10:05 a.m. His address, "New Realities in Security Management - Enabling the Transparent Enterprise," will focus on the alignment of security investments with corporate performance objectives.
Other CA executives and security experts will give the following presentations:
* On Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m., Ron Moritz, senior vice president and chief
security strategist for CA, will participate in a panel discussion
entitled "Convergence in Enterprise Gateway Security," which will review
how consolidation and integration in the information security industry
is driving the growth of dedicated security appliances.
* On Thursday, Feb. 17 at 2:00 p.m. Moritz will also participate in a
panel discussion entitled "Making Better Software: Government Market
Requirements." This panel will discuss the current state of commercial
software as it relates to government system security requirements and
outline public and private initiatives to improve software security and
reliability.
* On Thursday, Feb. 17 at 3:25 p.m. Bilhar Mann, vice president of eTrust
Identity and Access management at CA, will present a "Checklist for
Integrated Identity and Access Management." The session will evaluate
the criteria for an integrated suite for enterprise, federated identity
and access management.
* On Friday, Feb. 18 at 10:05 a.m. Chris Betts, CA development project
manager, will participate in a panel discussion entitled "Effective
Practices and Latest Technologies for High Performance XML Security
Processing." This session will address concerns about the performance
of XML-based systems in the deployment of security for Web services.
In addition, on Feb. 16 and 17 CA will participate in the OASIS Federated Identity InterOp Lab, which will demonstrate interoperability of the SAML Security Assertions Markup Language (SAML) 2.0. CA will also host an identity and access management workshop on Monday, Feb. 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton and Towers San Francisco.
