ANNAPOLIS, Md., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- CollabraSpace, a leading provider of web-based collaboration solutions for government and commercial organizations, today announced the appointment of George Holland as sales director for the public sector.
Holland, formerly with Bell Atlantic, Northrop Grumman, Qwest Communications and Sybase, brings more than 27 years of public and private sector information technology experience to his new role. In this position, Holland manages all business development, sales and customer satisfaction for the company's public sector accounts.

After 18 years as a Defense Department Russian linguist, intelligence analyst and technical advisor, Mr. Holland established successful records in a wide range of leadership positions, including vice president of sales and innovation at Xspeedium.com, an Internet start-up, strategic programs manager for Qwest Federal and, most recently, as C4I regional sales manager for Sybase. He holds a B.A. in Russian Language and History from the University of Maryland.
CollabraSpace also recently announced the company's certification for Department of Defense collaboration solutions, successfully passing the test for the Joint Interoperability Test Command's defense collaboration tool suite (DCTS), as well as their release of CollabraSuite version 3.4, with enhanced desktop capabilities and improved security features.
