Harvest: Farm-to-Table Announces Headlining Musical Acts, War and the Gin Blossoms to Join a Host of Iconic Chefs, Winemakers and Agricultural Producers, at the Second Annual Harvest: Farm-to-Table, September 25th & 26th, 2010; Tickets on Sale Now
CARMEL VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The much-anticipated Harvest: Farm-to-Table returns September 25th and 26th, 2010, to Quail Lodge in Carmel Valley, California. Harvest: Farm-to-Table is a two-day, family-friendly event that celebrates the agricultural bounty of Monterey County and beyond, with local and regional farmers, artisan cheese makers, chefs, winemakers and musical entertainment. The event will take place in an entirely al fresco format with tastings, musical concert series, and workshops all located in an open air greenmarket-style setting.
Under the adroit touch of Coastal Luxury Management, the creative team behind the tremendously successful Pebble Beach Food & Wine, Harvest: Farm-to-Table stands to provide an unparalleled experience to the Monterey Peninsula. With Harvest: Farm-to-Table's superlative combination of inspired culinary events and the musical talents of War and the Gin Blossoms, Harvest: Farm-to-Table stands to be recognized as the only event in Central California that provides consumers with an experience that seamlessly interlaces culinary and musical entertainment in a tremendous venue.
Harvest: Farm-to-Table will feature a grand tasting featuring more than 100 wineries and more than 50 regional chefs. The Grand Tastings will include educationally themed workshops on backyard heirloom vegetable gardening, wine tasting, a farmer's market, artisanal cheese sampling, barbeque seminars, cooking demonstrations from iconic food personalities, headline musical entertainment, and interactive culinary activities for the whole family, all while celebrating sustainability and seasonal bounty in the 'salad bowl' of California... Monterey County.
This convergence of a wine and food festival, musical venue and farm-to-table concept is the inspired interpretation of Robert Weakley and David Bernahl, the co-founders of Coastal Luxury Management based in Monterey, CA. "We wanted a sister event to Pebble Beach Food & Wine that embraced the beautiful weather here in our backyard in sunny Carmel Valley," says co-founder Weakley. Bernahl adds, "The concept of bringing chefs and wineries together with local and regional producers, in a family-friendly, lifestyle event, in conjunction with phenomenal entertainment and an educational component was irresistible for our team."
Harvest: Farm-to-Table will take place this September 25th - 26th, 2010 on the Farm Field at the famed Quail Lodge Resort in Carmel Valley, California. War will perform Saturday, September 25th, 2010 and the Gin Blossoms will perform Sunday, September 26th, 2010. A list of vendor/chef/winemaker/sponsor participation is available on the event website.
