McDonald's® New York Tri-State Area Restaurants and WFAN Kickoff the Third Season of 'McDonald's Monday Morning Quarterback' Program

McDonald's Continues to be the Official Breakfast of "Boomer and Carton in the Morning" this Football Season

ROSELAND, N.J., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling all football fans! To celebrate the start of the 2010-2011 football season, McDonald's Tri-State Area restaurants and WFAN are teaming up once again for "McDonald's Monday Morning Quarterback." Beginning today, listeners are encouraged to call "Boomer and Carton in the Morning" every Monday during the football season to offer commentary about the weekend's Giants or Jets games.

The winner with the best commentary will be named "McDonald's Monday Morning Quarterback" for the week and receive a $100 American Express gift card. At the end of the 17-week program, each winner will be entered in a drawing for the grand prize, the ultimate fan's dream, a trip to the "Big Game Weekend" in Dallas (Arlington, TX) courtesy of McDonald's and WFAN.

To kickoff the "McDonald's Monday Morning Quarterback" program, McDonald's, with the help of Boomer and Carton, will be hosting a special breakfast party at the McDonald's store located at 541 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan on September 16 at 10:30 a.m. In addition to having the opportunity to huddle up with Boomer and Carton, the first 50 fans at the party will receive a free McDonald's breakfast sandwich and a cup of Premium Roast Coffee.
