Following the success of Rentrak's inaugural Highly Targeted Network Summit held in February, Rentrak continued their summit series with an extended conversation lead by Helen Katz from SMGX and John Spadaro from Zenithmedia with a network presentation deck from Sprout regarding how highly targeted networks (HTN) fit into the overall national television planning and buying ecosystem using a "Database Currency." Additional topics that were discussed included how HTNs can maximize their opportunity to successfully compete for network dollars through ratings and database overlays as well as what database overlays mean for the future of television advertising.
