2009 Allstate VHSL Division 5 & 6 Football Championships to Air Live on Cox 11
~Cox 11 will be the exclusive carrier for the high school football title run~
CHESAPEAKE, Va., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third consecutive year, Cox Communications will provide exclusive live coverage of the 2009 Allstate Virginia High School League (VHSL) Football Championships. This year's championship will feature some of the best teams and players in the state battling for their respective state titles at The University of Virginia's, Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Coverage of the AAA Championships begins Saturday December 12 at Noon with the Division 5 final. The Division 5 match-up will be a rematch of last year's game featuring Hampton's own Phoebus Phantoms who will defend their division crown against the Bulldogs of Stone Bridge. The Division 6 final will follow at 4 pm with the Thomas Dale Knights taking on the Lake Braddock Bruins.
