Sony Music and Exposure Launch SBX, a New Communications and Artist Agency

Sony Music and Exposure Launch SBX, a New Communications and Artist Agency

LONDON, November 5/PRNewswire/ -- Global music and entertainment giant, Sony Music and multi-disciplined
communications agency, Exposure have joined forces to launch a new
pan-European creative agency: SBX.

Formed in response to the changing cultural and economic climate,
particularly in the music and entertainment arena, Sony Music brings its
global entertainment credentials, powerful artist roster and vast catalogue
and content to the agency. Together with Exposure's multi-disciplined brand
communication and creative expertise, SBX will develop entertainment based
communication platforms and provide a richer consumer experience for brands.

While SBX has preferred access to the Sony Music and Exposure network, it
acts independently and will also work with third party agencies and content
providers.

SBX offers its clients a full 360 degree proposition, from initial
strategic planning and market research to creative work, content programming
and fully integrated execution. This translates as a broad range of services
and tools such as artist endorsements, product placement in music videos,
syncs for TV adverts, sonic branding, digital content and web 2.0 marketing
tools, artist concerts and live events as well as music-oriented ad funded
programming.

Richard Story, COO Sony Music Continental Europe, said of the launch:
"SBX is a key pillar of our new business strategy. It delivers on our mission
to transform SONY MUSIC from a record label into a global music entertainment
partner for our artists and brand clients.

Marcel Engh, MD of SBX adds: "The benefit of the two teams' experience
will allow SBX to create engaging and sustainable communications for its
clients, developing valuable content and delivering truly integrated
campaigns at a local and international level."

Raoul Shah, CEO Exposure, comments: "Since the launch of Exposure in
1993, we have been developing brand communications campaigns that have linked
cultural sectors like fashion, film, music and entertainment. The opportunity
to create a specific business dedicated to brand entertainment in association
with one of the world's most famous music entertainment companies is a
privilege and an exciting prospect. Both companies can benefit from
leveraging each other's expertise, networks and client portfolios."

SBX previously developed and activated recent campaigns for blue chip
clients such as Playstation, Levis, Samsung, Intel, Tommy Hilfiger and Nokia.
Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child and Wyclef Jean, world class producer and
founder of The Fugees were both involved in the Tommy Hilfiger initiative
(http://www.tommytv.com).

Sony Music artist Kelly Rowland comments: "I just wanted to say a
personal thank you to SBX for bringing me these great branding opportunities
as well as new ways to get my music out there."

Sony Music artist Wyclef Jean comments: "As a musician with fans all over
the world, it's great to have a company like SBX that gives my fans the
chance to engage with me in so many different ways. The only thing I regret
about SBX is that I didn't come up with the idea first!"
