MTV Tr3s Descubre & Download Features Left Coast Sound of Omar Cruz

NEW YORK, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Omar Cruz, the Los Angeles-based rapper intent on bringing Chicano lifestyle to the forefront, has been selected as the next breakout artist in Latin music by MTV Tr3s and will be featured on the network's signature music discovery platform "Descubre & Download" through December 7th. As part of the six week "Descubre & Download" campaign, Cruz's hit single and anthem to barrio struggle and success "To the Top," featuring Frankie J, is available as a free download at mtvtr3s.com/music/downloads.

Recognized as one of the tightest West Coast emcees, Cruz is also known as "the lyrical assassin" for his raw verses about social injustice and daily life on the streets of L.A. He can also been seen as host of "Pimpeando" the MTV Tr3s series that hooks viewers up to Latino car culture on the West Coast and beyond (Mondays at 4 PM and 9 PM).
