Vince Pace Executive Produces Disney's Hannah Montana Concert Film in Theaters Now

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- PACE, the pioneer of 3D digital film, announces another successful project with Disney's highly anticipated "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert." Vince Pace, Founder of PACE, served as Executive Producer for the film. PACE worked with Disney creatively and technically on the project from principal photography to post production, providing seven PACE/Cameron Fusion System (Fusion System) cameras to capture the 3D imagery.

This highly anticipated movie is part of Disney's recent collection of trailblazing digital 3D films that are opening up the genre to a mass audience. The Hannah film will open in 684 digital theaters and is setting presale records.

"My team and I used the Fusion System to create the ultimate concert experience for Hannah fans," said Pace. "Like our other successful concert and reality projects, we captured the show from a VIP perspective. Theatergoers will experience the concert from a variety of highly demanded locations, so that every seat is the best seat in the house. We are excited to work with Disney, a company that is taking advantage of the power of this new medium, and implementing it so that audiences around the globe can enjoy the ultimate experience of 'being there.'"

Vince Pace is an accomplished DP and innovator in the entertainment industry virtually pioneering the resurgence of the 3D medium. In addition to Hannah Montana, he and his PACE team have had many successful 3D projects, including:

-- U2 3D - Pace integrated first ever Spydercam rig leveraging the
PACE/Cameron Fusion System.

James Cameron's $200 million-feature film. Vince Pace is currently
serving as the film's 2nd Unit DP.

acquisition. Vince Pace served as the Director of Photography.

dark "away team" stadium for an audience of over 16,000 fans.
-- NBA All Star Game - PACE co-produced with NBA Entertainment the first
ever live action broadcast of a sporting event for the 56th NBA
All-Star game live in HD 3D to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in
Las Vegas.

The Disney film is already garnering national attention as hundreds of show times are sold out on Fandango. It was the top seller on MovieTickets.com its first week on sale. The production features Miley Cyrus -- the 14-year old singing sensation and star of Disney Channel's hit series "Hannah Montana" -- performing as both a solo artist and as her hugely popular television character, Hannah Montana. The movie was shot during Cyrus's 54-city American tour late last year.

About PACE

PACE is the world's leading company in digital 3D technology and 3D film technique. Vince Pace, the company's founder, designed the PACE/Cameron Fusion System, working in collaboration with legendary filmmaker, James Cameron. The Fusion System is a highly advanced imaging tool that allows the creative process to drive the entertainment value. Where 3D in the past has relied on the mathematics of the shot, the Fusion revolutionizes the process and allows filmmakers the ability to harness the experience of "being there" and deliver that experience to the viewer. The camera system is designed to capture images in a manner similar to human eyesight, utilizing the technique of Dynamic Convergence (TM) and Dynamic Interocular (TM), which enhances the viewer's visual experience and creates the sensation of "being there."
