UK cinemas this weekend with an opening of GBP4,525,246(x)

movie starring Johnny Depp as the demon barber and Helena Bonham Carter as
his accomplice Mrs Lovett, slashed the competition to become the biggest
opening weekend of this year.

The screen adaptation of legendary lyricist and composer Stephen
Sondheim's award winning stage musical has secured 3 Oscars nominations
including Best Actor for Johnny Depp. At this year's Golden Globes Depp was
named Best Actor for his outstanding portrayal and the film won Best Film
(Musical or Comedy).

Helena Bonham Carter's performance has been nominated in the Best Actress
category at February's London Critics Circle Awards.
