Romney Leads in Florida Primary Advertising, Nielsen Reports
Giuliani Heaviest Advertiser in January
NEW YORK, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitt Romney has placed more television advertisements in the Florida Republican Presidential primary than any other candidate, but Rudy Giuliani has run more ads in January, The Nielsen Company reported today. Altogether, a total of 8,012 TV spots have been run between March 2007 and January 2008 in Florida by Romney (4,475), Giuliani (3,067) and John McCain (470).
Nielsen did not report on ad placement in the Democratic primary since Democratic advertising in Florida has been minimal.
