EMI Music Publishing Signs Usher's Brother, Hitmaking Producer JLack, to a Worldwide Publishing Deal

JLack's upcoming projects include Usher's new album

Produced music for Usher's performance on Movies Rock, airing December 7th on CBS

ATLANTA, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Hitmaking producer JLack (Usher's brother) recently signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing. JLack has already achieved success producing R&B artist Lloyd's #2 hit single "Get It Shorty." Additionally, he produced the music featured in the national launch of Usher's men's and women's fragrance. The publishing deal was arranged by JLack's manager and mom, Jonnetta Patton of J-Pat Management.

Recently, JLack produced a remake of the Gene Kelly classic "Singin' In The Rain" for Usher's performance on MOVIES ROCK, the two-hour CBS special celebrating the role that music has played in films, airing on December 7th at 9 pm et/pt.
