Unbelievably Terrific Radio Gardening Show

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Longtime radio personality and garden expert Nick Federoff signs agreement with URT Productions, Inc. to further syndicate his 2-hour weekend radio show, Nick Federoff on Gardening and his award-winning daily vignettes, the Things Green Garden Minute.

"When you have a gut feeling that something is right, and I have a pretty big gut, I believe you should go for it," says Federoff. Federoff, who hosts the longest consecutive running gardening and lifestyle program in Los Angeles radio, can be heard on stations across the country. He began his career in May 1989 then syndicated the show in August 1995. Federoff explains, "One of the big syndicators approached me to syndicate the show. After reading the contract I told them if I had to do all of 'this' I'll syndicate myself. The guy on the other end laughed and said I could never do it. With that challenge I hired a syndication consultant and learned everything he knew. Three months later I get a call from the guy that challenged me saying he's hearing we are launching our show with no less than 10 affiliates and wanted to know if there was something he could do. I told him he'll be the third person I call when I decide to sell the syndication. He said 'Nick, I deserved that.'"
