NCircle Entertainment Gallops into North American Mass Market with Horseland DVDs

Second Wave of Popular Catalog Kids Television Programs Also Available

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- NCircle Entertainment announced today the arrival of two Horseland titles to the U.S. and Canadian markets. As part of NCircle's multi-year DVD and digital format distribution deal with DIC Entertainment, "Friends First ... Win or Lose" and "Taking the Heat" will be available starting Tuesday, August 28th at major mass market and leading online retailers including national and regional supermarkets, drugstore chains, bookstores and specialty retailers such as Cavender's and Back in the Saddle national catalog.

Produced by DIC, the animated series is set in a stable where a host of young characters and their unique horses, who talk to each other and the stable animals, have fun competing. Interwoven into the episodes are lessons that deal with compassion, cooperation and fair play. The popular series is part of the Saturday morning "KEWLopolis" programming block on CBS.

"Given the appeal of horses, the success of the television series and the enormous success of the website, we are delighted to present Horseland to the 'tween' North American consumer home video marketplace," stated Debbie Ries, Senior Vice President and General Manager, NCircle Entertainment. "Through the DIC partnership, our Horseland and catalog offerings reinforce our steadfast commitment of providing quality, value-driven products."

Featuring 60 minutes of running time, the "Friends First ... Win or Lose" and "Taking the Heat" DVDs each include two episodes of fun-filled equine adventures with Horse Trivia and Character Gallery bonus features.

"Friends First ... Win or Lose" synopsis

-- "You Can't Judge a Girl By Her Limo" -- The kids reminisce about the first day Sarah arrived at Horseland, and how they all assumed she'd be a stuck-up snob like Chloe & Zoey, and how wrong they were.

-- "The Competition" -- When Horseland must choose one rider to represent the stable in a big Western Riding competition, Chloe & Zoey's competitiveness is communicable, and soon even all four of our best friends are on edge. But after Chloe wins, now comes the hard part for everyone else: making up.

"Taking the Heat" synopsis

-- "Win Some, Lose Some" -- When Alma skips several practices, she has a run of disappointing results in a fence-jumping event. She has trouble accepting responsibility for her failures, and tries to pass off the blame for her dismal performance. When Chloe wins a competition with a perfect score, Alma finally realizes she has no one to blame but herself.

-- Fire, Fire Burning Bright" -- When Chloe & Zoey shirk their responsibilities on a trial ride/camping trip - not filling the water jugs, not making sure the campfire is out - the result is a forest fire which puts everyone in jeopardy ... especially them, because when the kids flee to a lake, it turns out the sisters can't swim!

Additionally, a second wave of nine entertaining direct-to-video children oriented catalog properties from the DIC collection were made available on Tuesday, August 21st, including:
