Starz Entertainment Names Noah Solomon Director of Business & Legal Affairs, Production

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment, LLC today announced the appointment of Noah Solomon as director of business and legal affairs, production. In this capacity he is responsible for business affairs regarding Starz Original long-form productions, co-productions, documentaries and television series. Solomon works out of the Burbank, Calif., office and reports to Marc Barson, vice president of business and legal affairs, production for Starz Entertainment, LLC.

Solomon returns to Los Angeles and entertainment law after a brief turn as corporate counsel for Riverdeep Inc., a software publisher in San Francisco. Before joining Riverdeep, Solomon was director of business and legal affairs for Comedy Central in Los Angeles. As lead attorney for all west-coast original productions, (such as "South Park," "Reno 911!," "Mind of Mencia"), Solomon negotiated and drafted a variety of talent and other production deals while supervising day-to-day legal work.

Prior to Comedy Central, Solomon was counsel at NBC-Universal Television and manager of business and legal affairs at Universal Network Television, both of which involved negotiating and drafting development and production deals relating to network pilots and series. Solomon graduated from Southwestern Law School and received his undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University. A native of the area, Solomon resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
