City Lights Pictures Enters Into Distribution Agreement With VVS Films for Canada

Strategic partnership to encompass theatrical, television, DVD and digital

CANNES, France, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Danny Fisher, CEO of New York based City Lights Media Group today announced a distribution agreement with Montreal based Canadian distributor VVS Films for City Lights' produced and acquired feature film, television, documentary and special interest programming in Canada.

Projects already in the distribution pipeline for this deal include Canadian DVD rights to David Wain's comedy "The Ten" starring Paul Rudd, Famke Janssen, Winona Ryder, Adam Brody and Jessica Alba, which will be released theatrically August 3rd via THINKFilm, Alec Baldwin starrer "Brooklyn Rules," released by City Lights Pictures in theaters now in the US, Rosario Dawson starrer "Descent," Sundance '07 Grand Jury Prize Winner for Documentary "Manda Bala," and Cuba Gooding Jr. starrer "Harold."

"Following closely on the heels of our distribution deal with WEA Corp. for video and digital distribution in the US, we are thrilled to be inking this deal with VVS Films for Canada," says Danny Fisher.
