Artists and Legends Gala Returns to the Palm Springs Art Museum Saturday, March 24, 2007 With Three Stellar Honorees!

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Museum Associates Council (MAC) of the Palm Springs Art Museum will present the Artists and Legends Gala on Saturday, March 24, 2006. Event chairs, Leisa Austin, Alise Benjamin-Mauritzson and Annette Bloch are thrilled to announce three world-renowned honorees as recipients of artistic achievement awards: architect/designer Frank Gehry, actor/artist Dennis Hopper, and artist Ed Ruscha.

Frank Gehry will receive the Helene & Lou Galen Award of Artistic Excellence from his son Alejandro Gehry.

Artist and actor Dean Stockwell will present the Stacey & Greg Renker Award of Artistic Excellence to Dennis Hopper.

Actress and model Lauren Hutton will present the Hortense Singer Award of Artistic Excellence to Ed Ruscha.
