SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Xenon Pictures, Inc., announces the February 6th DVD release of the acclaimed documentary LOS LONELY BOYS: COTTONFIELDS AND CROSSROADS, an inside look at the rise of the Award-winning "Texican" trio-brothers JoJo, Henry and Ringo Garza -- from their humble beginnings in San Angelo, Texas, to the sold-out national tours and Grammy(R)-winning performances that have rocked the world.

Masterfully directed by fellow San Angelo native Hector Galan ("Accordion Dreams," "Songs of the Homeland"), LOS LONELY BOYS: COTTONFIELDS AND CROSSROADS vividly captures the essence of the band's struggle to become a worldwide music phenomenon, culminating in multi-platinum album sales, non- stop tours, television appearances and a 2005 Grammy(R) Award for the chart topping hit song, "Heaven." This biographical documentary is a heartfelt and moving account of the brothers' rise to the fame, fusing exciting live performances with intimate personal accounts by Los Lonely Boys, their friends and family, as well as recollections by journalists and people in the music industry.

"This is one of those rare music documentaries that captures a core humanity operating amid a great bands' rise to fame and success. Hector Galan has captured the quintessence of the American Dream," says Xenon CEO S. Leigh Savidge.

LOS LONELY BOYS: COTTONFIELDS AND CROSSROADS is a film that proudly highlights the Garza brothers' Mexican American heritage and their musical influences, tracing the long line of working musicians in their family tree for whom music has been a way of life and, like working in the cotton fields, a means of survival. Director Hector Galan takes the audience through an emotional voyage, from the early days of the young trio under the tutelage of their father, playing country bars and Mexican cantinas in and around San Angelo, to Nashville, where they endure turmoil and heartbreak, to their rise to fame, all the while maintaining the strong family bond that has always kept them afloat. These life experiences captured so eloquently by Galan's camera reveal a compelling portrait of a young band of brothers who, against all odds, break out of poverty and find the American rock & roll dream.

LOS LONELY BOYS: COTTONFIELDS AND CROSSROADS is rated PG (for mild language and some thematic elements).
