Pope John Paul II Film Premiere in Santa Clara on Nov. 11 Includes In-Person Appearance by Jon Voight

What:

Special film-premiere event featuring actor (Jon Voight) and director (John Kent Harrison).

Ignatius Press has acquired sole North American DVD distribution of this CBS film. Made in close cooperation with the Vatican, it originally aired on CBS last year, and tells the story of Karol Wojtyla, the man who became one of the most important 20th-century figures, and who is now called 'John Paul the Great' by many who knew and admired him. From his childhood in Poland, through the Nazi occupation of his homeland, to his surprising elevation to the Papacy, Pope John Paul II shows the courage, sanctity, intelligence, and humor of this great man. This epic film is considered the definitive biographical movie on John Paul II. Ignatius Press' special website for the event: http://www.ignatius.com/Videos/PopeJohnPaulII/premiere.htm
