Line 6 Expands With the Appointment of Gregg Stein as Director of Marketing Communications

CALABASAS, Calif., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Line 6, Inc., the leader in digital modeling instruments and professional recording products, announced today the expansion of its marketing organization with the addition Gregg Stein as director of marketing communications. Stein will oversee all Line 6 strategic brand marketing and communications worldwide.
Gregg Stein comes to Line 6 from Numark, Alesis and Akai Professional, where he served as director of marketing worldwide. In that role, he was responsible for all global marketing management, brand management, business development, artist management and event marketing. During his tenure, Stein helped drive the launch of such products as Numark's award-winning iDJ, the Alesis DM5 Kit and Akai Professional's MPC 500. Most recently, Stein, was responsible for Numark, Alesis and Akai Professional's Milestones 2006, an industry sponsored scholarship fundraising gala event for disadvantaged youth held at Berklee College of Music.

Prior to Numark, Alesis and Akai Professional, Stein led the strategic marketing efforts at the Avedis Zildjian Company. As Zildjian's Product Marketing and Communications Manager, Stein was responsible for brand management, new product development, advertising, public relations, merchandising, and all corporate marketing communications.
Stein is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Drum Set Performance. He recently completed his Master's of Special Studies in Administration and Management at Harvard University.
