Jessica Simpson Joins BLOCKBUSTER to Help Launch New Service - BLOCKBUSTER Total Access

WHAT: Two BIG names in entertainment -- BLOCKBUSTER(R) and Jessica
Simpson -- are coming together to help celebrate the launch of
BLOCKBUSTER Total Access(TM)! Jessica Simpson will be on hand
as BLOCKBUSTER Chairman and CEO John Antioco launches a totally
new rental program that gives online subscribers unprecedented
access to movies.

BLOCKBUSTER Total Access gives online customers the option of
returning their DVDs through the mail or exchanging them at one
of more than 5,000 participating BLOCKBUSTER stores for free
in-store movie rentals. By integrating the BLOCKBUSTER stores
with the company's online rental service, BLOCKBUSTER Total
Access will offer renters more choice, control and value than
ever before. No other online rental service can offer
customers the option of returning their movies to the store and
exchanging them for free movie rentals, and no other
store-based retailer can offer customers the convenience and
selection of more than 60,000 titles available online. Now,
thanks to BLOCKBUSTER Total Access, customers never have to be
without a movie.

At the celebration event, Jessica Simpson will help make the
announcement and will be given the first BLOCKBUSTER Total
Access celebrity VIP membership.
