PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CN8, The Comcast Network is the nation's only cable broadcaster to provide continuous primetime election night coverage of the races important to a vast regional audience spanning from Maine to Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Comprehensive programming on Tuesday, Nov. 7 will begin live at 7 p.m., tracking the East Coast's and the nation's most anticipated races until the final results are announced. Network political director Lynn Doyle leads CN8's election night coverage, featuring expert analysis and live reports from campaign headquarters, including New Jersey's Kean/Menendez; Pennsylvania's Rendell/Swann and Santorum/Casey; and Virginia's Allen/Webb.

As part of its commitment to political coverage as well as voter education and awareness, CN8 also produced more than 500 "Candidates On Demand" interviews with contenders for more than 350 regional gubernatorial, senate, house, mayoral and other local political races. These interviews are available ON DEMAND, in the "Get Local" category, to Comcast Digital Cable customers to watch at no additional cost, whenever and as often as they like, through Election Day.

Anchor Art Fennell leads the passionate, opinionated "AFR" on-air team to review key races in battleground states, explore the issues heating up campaigns and go behind the scenes of harsh political advertisements.
