FilmLoop Introduces FilmLoop 2.0 and Brand New Content Web Site
New Tools Help Users Generate Photo Story Loops and Showcase Them at FilmLoop.com Web Site
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- FilmLoop, Inc., a provider of free software that enables people and businesses to broadcast and share photo story Loops, today announced the general availability of FilmLoop 2.0 for Windows, as well as a completely re-vamped Web site (www.filmloop.com). A major upgrade to FilmLoop 1.0, the latest version provides new features to allow users to easily tell "photo stories." Studio features include captions, bubbles, frames, tattoos, slide sorter and easy posting to Web sites like MySpace, Live Journal and Blogger. The new Web site is designed to showcase thousands of photo story loops submitted by users.
"In the past year, we've been amazed by the number of compelling photo story Loops that users have created," said Kyle Mashima, CEO and co-founder of FilmLoop. "FilmLoop 2.0 Studio and the new Web site support over a million registered users' need to tell their stories. We've done extensive testing and our users love the new Studio features."
The most recent version of FilmLoop is the latest in a series of major achievements since the product's launch one year ago. Since its debut, FilmLoop now has over one and a half million registered users, partnerships with eBay, Photobucket, NASCAR.COM, Toyota and Purina, and more than 45 million images have been uploaded to the FilmLoop network.
"I use FilmLoop to show off my latest photos on my blog," says Eric Tenin, FilmLoop user, and blogger for Paris Daily Photo. "Every day I add to my daily photo story Loop about life around Paris, and subscribers to my Loop get the new photo delivered right to their desktop or screen saver. I am so excited about the great response that I've now embarked on a project to build a network of 'Daily Photo' blogs from cities all over the world. They will all use FilmLoop to show off daily photo stories of life in their city. FilmLoop has made this project possible -- the product has transformed how I share photos on my blog." (Eric Tenin's blog can be found at http://www.parisdailyphoto.com/ ).
