Outdoor Channel Grows Audience With Knology: Deal Projected to Add 100,000 Plus Subscribers in GA, AL, TN & FL

TEMECULA, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Outdoor Channel(TM) (TOC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OUTD), announced today a deal with Knology, Inc. (NASDAQ:KNOL) that moves TOC to expanded basic cable in Knology markets serving Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida, and will launch TOC to an additional new market in Pinellas County, Florida.

The move to expanded basic cable has already been completed in some markets, with remaining changes including the new launch to take effect by the end of the year. The deal is projected to add more than 100,000 additional subscribers to the TOC viewing family.

On August 31, 2006, TOC was migrated from Knology's Digital to Analog service in Columbus, GA. The same move is set to take place in Huntsville, Alabama in October, followed by migration from Digital to Analog in Panama City, Florida in November. Later this year, TOC will move from Knology's Digital to Analog service in Montgomery, Alabama and will launch to a new market in Pinellas County, Florida.
