Stars Come Out in Denver to Support Our Troops

Operation Holiday Spirit Concert Aims to Send Holiday Support Packages to Troops Overseas

DENVER, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The red carpet rolls out Sunday, November 5 to welcome a host of celebrities to Denver's Paramount Theater. Stars from film, television and music are all coming to the mile-high city to perform in a concert that benefits American troops overseas.

Dozens of celebrities will perform their favorite songs, share personal stories and lend their support to our soldiers and their families. Former 98 Degrees band mate Jeff Timmons will co-host along with Chudney Ross and Hollywood Entertainment's Jonathan Jaxson. Denver's own top-voted band Opie Gone Bad will be joined by Mario Lopez (Dancing with the Stars), Kyle Brandt and Nadia Bjorlin (Days of Our Lives), Michelle Stafford and Kate Linder (Young and the Restless), Alexis Cruz (Shark), Robert David Hall (C.S.I.), Jackie Zeman (General Hospital), Tyler Hilton (Musician/One Tree Hill), Kimberly Locke and Ace Young (American Idol) and Jordan Knight (New Kids on the Block).

The evening will also feature taped appearances by Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks, Christina Milian and many more.

In addition to enjoying a memorable evening, concert-goers could go home with their own piece of Hollywood. Many of the celebrities attending as well as Cher, Rosie O'Donnell & The view, Jennifer Aniston and many others are donating personal items including clothing to the silent auction. Items will be showcased throughout the evening by three of Howie Mandel's gorgeous ladies from Deal or No Deal.

Operation Holiday Spirit's goal is to raise over $100,000 to send packages stuffed with holiday treats plus personal messages from the stars and cool gifts like portable DVD players and iPods to troops who will be far from the comforts of home this holiday season.

Operation Holiday Spirit is partnering with Denver-based Treats for Troops to sponsor as many soldiers as possible through Treats for Troops Foster-A-Soldier Program. (www.treatsfortroops.com)

Red carpet begins at 5:30 p.m. outside the Paramount Theater. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale through TicketMaster and the Paramount box office. Tune in to Radio Station 95.7 The Party for a chance to win tickets. Tickets range from $65 to $85 and include parking.
