Starz to Offer Free Preview Weekend on Comcast Sept. 15 - 17

Free Preview Weekend Introduces Starz HD On Demand

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment and Comcast, the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced they are offering an exclusive free preview weekend to all Comcast Digital Cable customers beginning Friday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 17.

In addition to a free preview of the Starz channels and Starz On Demand movie offerings, Comcast customers will be introduced to the new Starz HD On Demand service. Titles available on Starz HD On Demand during the free preview weekend include "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"; "National Treasure"; "Flightplan"; "Rent"; and "The Incredibles."

The free preview weekend, hosted by E!'s Kristin Malia, will introduce Comcast customers to additional Hollywood blockbusters across all of the Starz suite of services including "An Unfinished Life" co-starring Robert Redford, "Flightplan" starring Jodie Foster and "Rent." Early premieres coming to Starz On Demand later in 2006 include "Shopgirl," "Fun with Dick and Jane," "Casanova," "Glory Road," "Eight Below," "Freedomland" and more. Movies coming to Starz HD On Demand later in 2006 include "Chicken Little," "Dark Water," "Shopgirl," "The Exorcism of Emily Rose," "Memoirs of a Geisha" and more.
