Comedian Jim Breuer Hosts Event at Hard Rock Cafe New York to Benefit the Chris Farley Foundation

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Big Apple will be rockin' as Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Tour makes its way to Times Square! On Monday, September 18, MOTLEY CRUE, who is also kicking off the Route of All Evil tour with Aerosmith this month, will take the stage at Hard Rock Cafe New York, performing legendary hits, such as "Dr. Feelgood" and "Shout at the Devil," as part of the Ambassadors of Rock Tour, a worldwide concert series to celebrate 35 years of Hard Rock. Ambassadors of Rock in New York will be hosted by "heavy metal" comedian Jim Breuer, best known for his revolutionary brand of rock 'n' comedy, and his Sirius Satellite Radio Show. The invitation-only event will benefit the Chris Farley Foundation, an organization created by the immediate family of the late comic actor, Chris Farley, dedicated to the prevention of substance abuse among kids, teens and young adults.

* A custom-made Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Gibson guitar, autographed
by all members of MOTLEY CRUE at Ambassadors of Rock in New York. The
highest bidder will receive the MOTLEY CRUE-autographed Ambassadors of
Rock guitar, along with photo documentation of the band signing the
guitar at the event.

* Two pairs of tickets to Ambassadors of Rock event in New York on
September 18th to see MOTLEY CRUE perform are also up for grabs. The
winning bid gets two tickets to the event and transportation to and

Making Rock History!

In addition to an unforgettable performance, the members of MOTLEY CRUE, lead singer Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer

Tommy Lee, will donate several pieces of memorabilia from the band's Carnival of Sins and Red, White and Crue tours to Hard Rock. Items donated by Vince, Mick and Nikki, including paint-splattered overalls and guitars, and Tommy's orange shorts and full drum kit, will be permanently added to Hard Rock's world-famous collection.

An Event to Remember!

Ambassadors of Rock in New York will also include a star-studded Red Carpet, featuring several celebrities and musicians, such as MOTLEY CRUE, comedian Jim Breuer, Ne-Yo, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run DMC, Scott Ian and Frankie Bello of Anthrax, Senses Fail, O.A.R., Rose Hill Drive and more. The party will also feature music from New York's hottest DJ team, the MisShapes, who will be rocking the turntables throughout the night.
