More Than One Thousand Barbra Streisand Tickets Have Been Invalidated by Ticketmaster Following Discovery of Ticket Fraud and Illegal Purchase Activity

More than one thousand tickets to Barbra Streisand's upcoming national concert tour that were fraudulently purchased from Ticketmaster using stolen credit card information have been invalidated. These invalid tickets have turned up for sale on various Internet resale sites. The tour's national promoter, Michael Cohl, Ticketmaster and Ms. Streisand's manager, Martin Erlichman, have cautioned consumers that these fraudulently purchased and invalidated tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers will not allow the ticket holder to gain admission to the venue on the night of the show.

Zookeeper Tops List as Children's Ideal Career

It's no surprise that kids love animals, but did you know they have an interest in taking care of them professionally? More than a quarter of children recently surveyed said they want to be a zookeeper when they grow up, as reported in the "Zoo Tycoon 2" Inside Young Minds study. The study, conducted on behalf of Microsoft Game Studios and the "Zoo Tycoon 2" franchise team, surveyed children ages 6 to 11. Other top career choices were doctor, with 19 percent of votes, and schoolteacher, with 18 percent.

AAA Chicago Says Drop in Gas Prices Will Fuel Labor Day Weekend Travel

With fuel prices slipping down to around two dollars and ninety cents per gallon, Triple 'A' Chicago expects no let up in travel for the Labor Day holiday weekend. Triple 'A' estimates that 35 point 2 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home this holiday, a 1 point 2 percent increase from the 34 point 8 million who traveled last year.
