Rendell will join local residents and elected officials at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, July 20, at the R/C Wilkes-Barre Movies 14 for the ceremonial ribbon cutting marking the grand opening of the 14-screen theatre. The project is a vital component of the city's overall revitalization, which also includes streetscape projects, new downtown lighting, parking garages, and facade improvements.
