Later in the night, the crowd was entertained by a surprise stand-up comedy performance by D.L. Hughley and an energetic set by Houston favorites The Scott Gertner Band. The night was capped off by an after-party at local hotspot The Pepper Lounge where Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, and Murphy Lee treated the capacity crowd to an impromptu hour-long performance.
