Multi-Media Mogul Donates Profits to Empower Others
Initial Donation From Pamela Bach Hasselhoff's First Album
LOS ANGELES, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Kris Lamans spent his youth picking cotton in the hot Louisiana sun, sang for the world-famous Platters and is now Hollywood's most recent multi-media mogul. His belief in giving stems from his humble upbringing and is incorporated into each multi-media project beginning with Pamela Bach Hasselhoff.
Bach Hasselhoff, who rose to international fame as a leading star of the popular "Baywatch" teleseries, moves into the ranks of recording artist with a new five-year deal with Pearl Records Group and Filmworks Corp., as well as a film and television arrangement with Kris Lamans Productions, both a division of FOCEN Network, Inc.
Her first assignment for the company is as one of the co-hosts on "Icons USA." This television series addresses the development of African American music starting from it roots in Africa through the present and how it has influenced other styles of music in America and throughout the world. It is scheduled to air on PAX Television Network this fall. The company is also developing two motion pictures, the first being "Heat On The Delta." Both films to star Bach Hasselhoff, with filming expected to begin this year.
Bach Hasselhoff originally went to Lamans because she wanted to do an album titled "Transitions" about women going through changes in their life despite adversity, a subject with which she can now identify.
Lamans said, "When Pamela came to me with the theme for her album I analyzed the concept with my staff Romeo Antonio and Zane Giles," both award-winning music producers. "We agreed we should move forward because we all can relate going through changes in our life." Her first cut is entitled, "No More Tears," which she co-wrote the lyrics with Lamans.
A portion of the sales from Bach Hasselhoff's album will be donated to help women empower themselves. This is consistent with Lamans corporate mission to have his projects reflect on the past to engage the future. Five percent of his company's revenue is designated to humanitarian causes around the world.
