Elliott Yamin and Everwood Win Moosak and Teavee for June 2006

LOS ANGELES, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Fly Publishing, LLC has crowned Elliott Yamin and Everwood winners for June 2006 in their monthly fan supported contest. Thousands of dedicated fans voted continuously over the entire month. With over 560,000 unique visitors and over 4.8 million page views last month Moosak.com and Teavee.com have become very popular internet destinations. The top ten winners are:

Top Moosak:

1. Elliott Yamin (169,247 votes)
2. Clay Aiken
3. Kellie Pickler
4. Lucy Lawless
5. Casey Rivers
6. ABBA
7. Bucky Covington
8. Chris Young
9. INXS
10. Chris Daughtry

2. JAG
3. Surface
4. Xena: Warrior Princess

7. South of Nowhere
8. Alias
9. MacGyver
10. Veronica Mars

By clicking on the "Positive Vote" button for a specific show or artist, anyone from all over the world can instantly see the effect of their vote. The vote total will either increase or decrease and the rank may go up or down a position. But after a vote the user is locked out from voting for five minutes. The immediate feedback this system provides creates very compelling websites where users spend hours and hours on-line.

"I've been voting for 17.5 hours today, minus the 20 minutes I took to walk my dog," said one anonymous Teavee user.

By restricting each person to one vote every five minutes the ability to get a show or artist into the top ten comes down to sheer will and determination. If you let your guard down and stop voting, the people below you exploit this opportunity. To pass the time between votes and keep the sense of community, there are very active message boards / chat rooms.

Using a proprietary IP address colorization process, no registration or passwords are required to use Teavee or Moosak. Each user is automatically assigned two unique colors based on an encrypted form of their IP address. This takes away the barrier common to most community websites of a lengthy registration process.

"The large number of votes Elliott and Everwood received should really tell Music and Television executives something," said Andrew Arrow, Director of Web Development for Fly Publishing, LLC. "While not necessary a scientific poll, the results do measure another aspect of music and television economic viability."

Voting for July 2006 is already underway.
