The Final Three Teams Arrive in Miami for a High Caliber Championship Event
It's a Win/Win Opportunity Miami Residents Won't Want to 'Pass' Up
What: As the Miami Heat travel to Dallas to compete for the big
title this week, a winning team from Dallas will arrive in
Miami for another final event -- along with teams from
Boston and Chicago -- to give away 1,000 free music
downloads and celebrate the end of the Dodge High Caliber
Challenge, a five-day, 13-city road-trip to raise awareness
for Global Music Project and benefit Doctors Without
Borders. It's a win/win opportunity for Miami residents to
raise money for a good cause and catch the finals of this
collegiate "3 on 3 tournament."
The ball's in Miami's court to come out and support the
winning teams on Friday, June 9. Miami residents are
invited to cheer on three teams of dynamic students -- from
Boston College, Northwestern University and Texas Christian
University -- at this "slam-dunk" event.
Visuals:
-- Ball Count: An all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber will be filled to
capacity with basketballs in celebration of the Miami Heat making
it to the NBA Finals. Event attendees will have an opportunity to
guess how many basketballs fit inside the vehicle and win a prize
of their own
-- The Warm-Up: Miami-based Jazz Fusion Latin band, For If The Flies,
will perform live during the event
-- Game Time: Residents will be invited to sample music and receive
free 1,000 downloads from http://www.globalmusicproject.org/
-- Halftime: Dodge will present a check for $10,000 to Global Music
Project and Doctors Without Borders
-- Award Ceremony: The team that earned the most points during the
five-day road trip will be announced and awarded a 24-month lease
on an all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber for each of the three team
members represented by an oversized key presentation; the six
runner-ups will each receive $500
