Archer Entertainment Exclusive Mandate From China to Digitize Cinemas Announced at Singapore Infocomm IMBX2006

LOS ANGELES and BEIJING, June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Archer Entertainment Media Communications Incorporated revealed today that China Film Group, China's official film production and exhibition entity, announced its exclusive, 30-year arrangement with Archer at the Infocomm Media Business Exchange event currently taking place in Singapore. Archer's mandate includes selecting vendors to digitize as many as 100,000 film theatre screens throughout China.

Also included in Archer's contract, is the right to re-develop, or develop new theatre sites and their surrounding real estate; the right to control all aspects of production, distribution and exhibition as well as control distribution and exhibition of select non-Archer venues; the right to operate commercial advertisements at the beginning and intermission of a digitized motion picture; to operate and broadcast value-added programs, such as live performances, concerts, and sport events through the digital cinema venue, and to set ticket prices for all exhibited content within the digital cinemas.
