Two-Thirds of U.S. Adults Consider Themselves to Be Healthy Eaters

Despite nutritionally unhealthy temptations everywhere you turn, many adults are finding ways to eat healthy. A new survey by Harris Interactive reveals that almost two-thirds of U-S adults consider themselves healthy eaters and almost half say they follow some type of health-conscious diet. Furthermore, substantial numbers say they try to incorporate healthy foods into their daily meals and snacks. Many consumers also appear to be turning to the organic food sections in supermarkets for healthy options. The survey examines how often adults are consuming these types of foods and what they perceive to be their main benefits.

Nicklaus, Palmer Criticize Augusta Changes

Breaking their silence surrounding the latest design changes to Augusta National Golf Club, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer sound off in the April Masters Preview issue of Golf Digest, on newsstands March seventh. According to the article, Nicklaus and Palmer, who have ten Masters titles between them, are disappointed they weren't consulted on any changes to the course that have occurred since nineteen-ninety-eight. The changes at Augusta National, including those to six holes last summer, include lengthening the course and tightening it by expanding bunkers, transplanting trees and introducing rough. Nicklaus and Palmer also believe the changes to Augusta National since nineteen-ninety-eight have disrupted the architectural values of the course originally intended by its designers Bobby Jones and Alister Mackenzie.
